Most of us have taken vitamins since we were children. While we may not be taking Flintstone’s supplements that are shaped like fun cartoon characters any more, we all still try to take our daily dose of goodness to keep healthy. We can even take them in gummy chew form now! However, did you know that vitamins can be harmful if not taken correctly?   • Be sure to read the fine print on labels. Even though these are over the counter medications, take dosages seriously. You can overdose from vitamins and some have serious effects.

  • Most importantly, speak with a medical professional about every supplement you take.
